Jasic TSP-EVOLVE – Evolve 200 Spool Gun

The TSP-EVOLVE spool gun is built for use with the JEV-200DP Jasic EVOLVE MIG 200P multi-process welder.

Why choose a spool gun?
Spool guns are particularly effective when working with softer MIG wires such as aluminium, which can easily deform when fed through longer torch cables. By shortening the wire feed path—from a small spool directly to the contact tip—they improve arc stability. This setup also allows for greater accuracy, producing cleaner welds with less finishing work required.

Key features:
The gun is equipped with a dual roller system inside the handle, ensuring a smooth and reliable wire feed. A 0.5kg spool is mounted directly on the gun and feeds straight through the rollers, helping to eliminate issues like wire tangling (commonly known as “bird nesting”). It comes with a standard euro connector that plugs into the front of the machine, removing the need to rely on the welder’s internal feed rollers. The 6-metre torch lead effectively functions as a self-contained wire feed system.

Spool guns are widely used in applications such as boat building and lorry bodywork, and they are especially useful in tight or restricted spaces where having a separate wire feed unit or nearby welder isn’t practical.
